HOW TO RECEIVE FORGIVENESS AND ETERNAL LIFE
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23).
1.
God loves you with unconditional love and
desires to give you forgiveness and life.
"God commended His love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8).
"Herein is love, not
that we loved God but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation
(covering) for our sins." (1 John 4:10).
2. The
only way to God is through His Son, Jesus Christ, who voluntarily gave up His
life as your substitute.
"And this is the
record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He
who has the Son has the life; he who has not the Son of God has not life."
(1 John 5:11-12).

You can receive Christ into your life by
turning from the old way (repentance) and placing your trust solely in the work
and merits of Jesus Christ, who has done all the work for you.
"But as many as
received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to
those who believe on His name." (John 1:12).
"Jesus said, "I
am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father except through
me."(John 14:6)
4. Here
is the kind of prayer you should pray (There is no formula. Use your own
words):
"Dear Lord, I
recognize that I am a sinner by nature and by choice. I also know that my sin
has cut me off from fellowship with you. I now turn from the old way and
receive you as my Lord and Saviour. Please come into my li fe, forgive my sin
and give me eternal salvation."
